The Thief and The Moon
"The Thief and The Moon" is a stop motion animation that took me six months to complete and was drawn and cut out entirely with paper. The piece is based on a song by Shawn James called The "Thief and The Moon", which is a song about a folk lore that explains how a thief is going to steal a moons light so they can rob everyone in the world of their wealth, and the moon explains that the thief is going to bring destruction to himself and those around him if he carries out this act.

Self Reflection
This is an experimental piece I made in my junior year of film that doesn't spoon-feed a whole lot of information to the viewer, so feel free to interpret what it means while you watch!

17 MINUTES
at 10 A.M. on April 20th, 2018, a national "walk out" was held in support of the tragic incident that happened in Florida. This event was also a protest for stricter gun laws to keep schools safer. This documentary is about the kids who participated in the walk out, including interviews on kids who help put it together from EBVT.
